A wordmark is a logo made from typography. The choice of typeface, size, spacing, and layout is key. It is designed to remain readable at different sizes and to reflect the brand’s character.

We use the wordmark together with a simplified icon version for small formats such as favicons. Combined with the other brand elements, these logo versions help create a consistent identity that is easy to recognize and remember.

Download our logo kit

Download the approved versions of our logo files from our shared drive. For details on usage, placement and color rules, see usage guidelines down below.

Each downloadable file includes variations of color and layout in approved formats. The kit provides

  • logomarks (the icon portion of a logo)
  • wordmarks (the text portion of a logo)

Default

Before Use

The pdm logo is a finished mark and must not be altered in any way. Please do not redraw it, stretch it, recolor it, animate it, or save it in new formats. Always use the provided logo files and respect the defined safety zone around it.

The logo must also not be uploaded to, recreated by, or used as input for any AI tools or generators, for any purpose.

If a specific use case is not covered here or something feels unclear, please do not improvise. Reach out to the designated point of contact instead. It is always easier to check once than to fix it later.

Overview

Wordmark and symbol mark

Our primary mark is the wordmark on its own. Its form has evolved over the years, and this one has been in use since 2026. To ensure it is becoming pdm’s iconic mark, please only use it as provided using the rule set below.

In most cases, we use the wordmark and use our symbol mark as decor in a different spot additionally. Make sure to avoid using the combined mark (wordmark and symbol mark in one) when adding the symbol mark somewhere else.

Favicon

The heart of our logo is the Hum icon. It represents our work at its core and gives character to our visual presence.

The icon is only available in our core palette of light avocado, light blueberry and dark moccha. In rare cases you’ll find it with a splash of pumpkin, however these should only be used by designers.

Sizing

Minimum logo sizes

  • Digital: 39px wide

What file type to use

The implementation of the logo in digital applications, such as websites and mobile apps, requires precise adherence to technical specifications to ensure consistency and quality.

Logo files are available in various formats, such as SVG and PNG. In the digital space, we always use the SVG versions due to their scalability.

The logo must always be used in the provided version and color palette to maintain visual identity. The files already include the logo's protected space. This should be observed as specified when integrating the logo.

Positioning on surfaces

The logo may only appear in one of the following four positions: top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right.

We avoid centered placement. This should only be done in exceptional cases where left or right alignment is not technically possible.

The position must remain fixed regardless of screen size, depending on the assigned corner. Repositioning to the center on smaller viewports is not permitted.

A consistent margin distance must always be maintained from adjacent content or UI elements to ensure clear visual separation and brand visibility. The safe zone serves as a measure for surrounding elements.
